Neurophysiologist research suggests that human thinking has two distinct phases which are complementary in making decisions or solving problems. 3.1 The history of philosophy is full of minor and major philosophers who have used deductive logic to address the tough perennial questions of life related to metaphysics (what is real), epistemology (what is true), and ethics (what is the good life). This discussion question will invite us to select a philosopher we would like to explore, and share what we learn with our class members.
